Twelve Questions You Should Ask When Choosing a Wine Cellar Cooling Unit:
- What is the koolR’s true power rating? BTU ratings refer to the size of the compressor. Real cooling power refers to the size of both the fans and the coils. koolR has been tested in controlled conditions against a leading competitor with the exact same compressor size. The coils and airflow were no contest! koolR outperformed!
- What about key components? A lot more is spent on components like stainless steel, German compressors, and hi-flow axial fans. Others use offshore parts and proceed to charge more for their wine cooling units!
- What about unit certification? Shockingly, most wine cellar cooling units are not certified. Every product from Vintage Keeper is both CSA and CE-Certified using the most meticulous international standards.
- How about noise? Vintage Keeper’s koolR and Tuscany series wine cabinets are engineered for quiet with the exclusive Acoustic Isolation Chamber. This unit produces much greater airflow with far less noise than others who allege to “whisper”.
- Is it necessary to have digital controls? Completely! Electronic controls take full advantage of efficiency and assure longer life. Vintage Keeper controls are smaller and more advanced than competing brands with their routine smart-sensing and self-adjustment for optimal power and efficiency. Analog controls cannot match this precision. As well, koolR digital controls with LED come standard and not as an upgrade!
- Which temperatures do the controls measure? Air or liquid? Vintage Keeper can measure both air and liquid. Others measure liquid only with using analog devices and do not match our quick response or constant liquid temperatures.
